The Mega Celebration of World Red Cross Day at DAVPS Bina

The World Red Cross Day was observed at DAVPS Bina in the presence and guidance of Hon'ble Principal, Mr. Ashok Kumar Sharma on 8th May to commemorate the birth anniversary of the founder of the Red Cross- Henry Dunant who was also the founder of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The celebration started by chanting Vedic Mantras. It was followed by an inspiring thought to aware the students of the activities of the volunteers and their tasks of handling every type of problem in a better way. The students then took pledge to help the needy and show humanity to create a peaceful environment. A wonderful skit was presented by the students to appeal to contribute to the cause by volunteering our time and resources to support the Indian Red Cross Society's initiative. The celebration came to an end with an urge to participate in Blood Donation Camp to help save lives and contribute to the well- being of society.
